The South African Schools Netball (SASN) has lauded school netball teams that participated in the recent Mildly Intellectually Disabled (MID) Championship. The SASN congratulated “all our incredible teams” that participate in the 2026 MID Championship.
In a statement the SASN said:” What an inspiring display of determination, teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship! Every player who stepped onto the court reminded us that true champions are defined by their courage, commitment, and love for the game.”
The statement mentioned the following schools-Bergeig, Kempton Panorama and Axios as the top 3 outstanding of all In a heart-,felt message the SASN enthused: “Well-done to every school that participated. These are Fakkel, NJ Heyns, Khulangolwa, Keurhof and Piet Joubert.”
The SASN thanked “every player, coach, manager, umpire, official, volunteer, and supporter who made this championship such a memorable celebration of inclusive sport. “Together, you continue to prove that netball has the power to unite, inspire, and create opportunities for everyone.”
