DM Motsoaosele Secondary School in Mpumalanga mesmerised audiences at the National ABC Motsepe South African Schools Choral Eisteddfod held in June 2026
With a breathtaking rendition of Thuto by P. Mamabolo, the choir delivered a performance that resonated with grace, passion and musical excellence, earning an outstanding second-place finish in the Mixed Choirs (African) category.
Their voices blended in perfect harmony, carrying a powerful message that echoed far beyond the stage and into the hearts of all who witnessed their performance.
This remarkable achievement “is a testament to the visionary leadership and musical excellence of Mr G. Zunguza,” Linda Masina,the minister of education in Mpumalanga,noted. “His dedication, discipline and inspiring direction guided the choir to this national milestone.
“The Mpumalanga province beams with pride at this outstanding accomplishment,” Masina said of the school choir.
“Your success is a beautiful reminder that excellence is born from perseverance, unity and an unwavering belief in one’s potential.
