The department of education in Mpumalanga invites members of the public and the education fraternity to celebrate Siluku Secondary school. The revamped school will be handed over to the community by the Mpumalanga premier, Mandla Ndlovu, on Thursday 6 August. The school is nestled in the heart of the Nkomazi region and it now takes on an even greater meaning after its extensive renewal as a reservoir of knowledge, hope, opportunity and human potential.
Rising proudly in Mafambisa, KaMaqhekeza, the new state-of-the-art Silulu Secondary School is a powerful symbol of a caring government that understands that every classroom built is an investment in the future, every learner empowered is a nation strengthened and every school completed is a promise fulfilled.
The school boasts 28 modern classrooms, a fully equipped administration block, a computer centre, a science laboratory, a library and a spacious auditorium. The facility further includes a fully equipped kitchen, 22 enviro-loo sanitation facilities, reliable water and electricity supply, a guard house, invisible security fencing, ramps and rails to ensure accessibility for all, sheltered parking, and a paved assembly area that will become a gathering place for generations of learners.
Silulu Secondary School stands as living proof of the Mpumalanga Provincial Government’s commitment to delivering quality infrastructure that opens doors to quality education, restores dignity, and creates opportunities for every child, regardless of where they come from.
