The South African Schools Netball (SASN) winter championships for primary schools kick off next week during the winter recess. The championships will take place in Middleburg, Mpumalanga. “From 23–25 July 2026, the country’s most talented young netball stars will gather at Hoërskool Middelburg to showcase their passion, determination, and love for the game,” the SASN reported.
The report quoted the SASN, “This championship is about more than competitio, it’s about building confidence, creating friendships, and inspiring the next generation of South African netball stars.” Registration is on 23 July: from 13:00 and the teams will be in a meeting from just after lunch at 13:30 and the first round will begin at 14:30 at Hoërskool Middelburg.
“We wish every player, coach, manager, official, and supporter a safe journey and an unforgettable championship,” the SASN statement said.
“Good luck to all the teams! Play with passion, compete with respect, and enjoy every moment.”
