Mirrors and Reflections

Remember who you are – The Quest for Personal Discovery

In the story, a young lion ran away after a tragic incident. He left with a heavy heart. To survive, he tried to bury the past and embrace a new version of himself.

One day, a monkey who knew his father spotted him and said, “I know where your father is.” The lion followed the monkey until they came to a lake. The monkey told him to look into the water. A big voice came from the lake and said: “Simba… Remember who you are.” — from The Lion King.

As we journey through life, we get hurt. We make mistakes. And sometimes we start avoiding the very places and people that remind us of where we come from. But this story reminds us: you cannot run away from your destiny. You cannot run away from yourself.

The day you stop running and face your fears is the day you will discover the significance of your life. You are not your mistakes. You are not your failures. Failure should not stop you from trying again. If you quit now, you will only know half of your story.

Pick yourself up and try again.

They say when you start again, you are not starting from scratch — you are starting from experience.

Remember why you started. Remember the vision you had…

*Remember who you are.*
